Everyone should be doing a Bible Study just like these:

"The Road to Relationship"

"Humility: The Insight Into God's Kingdom"

“The Road to Relationship” explores deepening relationships by commingling a study of how Jesus interacted with people throughout the book of Matthew and correlating it to various societal views on improving relationships.  We become aware of how Jesus was perfecting relationships long before our time and having great success. He accomplished that with 26 different attitudes and actions covered in the study.

In today’s society of social media networking, those connections are hard to maintain on a deep level and even face-to-face relationships are struggling. This study will help you develop, deepen, and grow your relationships.

Find your Road to Relationship alone, with a study group or just you and your partner.

As you read and study, prepare your heart to receive the insights into achieving a harvest that will increase your understanding of yourself and others. Assess your current understanding of yourself and others:

  1. I think I am better than others – Mark 4:14 (MSG) – “Some people are like the seed that falls on the hardened soil of the road.”

  2. Sometimes I think I am better than others and other times I think I am worse than others – Mark 4:16 (MSG) – “some are like the seed that lands in the gravel.”

  3. I think I am worse than others – Mark 4:18 (MSG) – “The seed cast in the weeds represents the ones who hear the kingdom news but are overwhelmed”

  4. I think I have value and I think others have value – Mark 4:20 (MSG) – “But the seed planted in the good earth represents those who hear the Word, embrace it, and produce a harvest.”

True humility sees their value and worth and also sees the value and worth in others. Once we grasp our value and worth, we can then begin to help others see theirs. Much of humility’s work will come into play when interacting with those living with shame. Jesus had the most success and put in the most effort with those who were ashamed, were being shamed, or dealing with the effects of shame. This is the group of people you should also be focusing your attention on helping.
